The Subzero who breaks jax's arm must be Quan chi because from the beginning of trailer we can see Subzero is represented as a thread . Also in a poster of mortal Kombat there is Scorpion and Subzero without mask like Subzero killing hanzo. Actually we know Quan chi used Subzero's sourcery once to kill scorpion's family and clan. Also in the trailer we can see noob sibot. But in the other movies and most of the games noob sibot is absent. In the trailer we can see Scorpion standing on his costume but Subzero didn't wear his mask and helmet. And Scorpion is looking to someone as you said after Scorpion ressuructed. So all these are pointing to the presence of Quan chi in the movie. And another thing is from the trailer the main and important characters like Johnny cage , kitana , baraka , kenshi , kabal ,cyrax and sektor are not present in the trailer. And when I search the cast and crew of the movie these characters are not present exept kitana ( because mileena is an identical clone of kitana made up of tarkatan blood ). At the last scene from trailer we can see a Godzilla like character with Kano . So that think must be reptile.

i am so hyped for snyder cut but just one minor detail i noticed: the way they depicted darkseid in the greek temple is actually the way orthodox christian holy men are drawn in churches and not in ancient Greece. I don't know if thats just something they missed or if it's important to the story, maybe darkseid visited earth again after the church was founded.

I'm not really a big DC or a big Snyder fan, but I respect his personal take that he wanted to bring to the JL, and indeed this looks to be epic and powerful. The studio interference with the original (and the other related movies) just resulted in an annoying mishmash that didn't satisfy anyone. This will at least reflect a coherent vision and style! (Also, I always loved Darkseid)

I appreciate movie studios bringing comics to life, but I'm Team Marvel. DC failed to explore their characters in the same way Marvel did for Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, etc. I do commend DC for their efforts though.
